Alethea "Ali" Tucker began her medical career as a medic in the U.S. Army in 2006. After serving in the military, she recieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from South University Columbia in 2011. Ali worked as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at a Level 1 trauma center, Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina. She also worked in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Lexington Medical Center for a few years before returning to to the Operating Room where she worked extensively in Neurosurgery for 6 years. Ali recieved her Master's of Science in Nursing from South University Columbia in 2019. Ali Tucker is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ali has a special interest in caring for patients with neurological problems and neurosurgery, due to a family member that required multiple neurosurgeries when she was a child. When she isn't taking care of patients, Ali enjoys spending time with husband and kids. Ali also enjoys running obstacle course races and road races, hiking, being outdoors and spending time on the lake.
